Task Retail Technology (TASK) today announced it has been contracted by Spark Arena in June 2021 to deploy the transaction management platform throughout the venue. Spark Arena was in a challenging position, encumbered with an older legacy platform that needed replacing in a short time frame. After a detailed due diligence process the executive made the decision to deploy the TASK solution, which was implemented in record time across the venue.
The platform has provided tangible benefits with an uplift in efficiencies, transaction speed and guest experience enhancements. The Arena focussed in on the transaction and integrated EFTPOS as a starting point and are now actively deploying additional modules, including real time inventory control and integrations via the TASK API.
“We had been examining the marketplace for some time and TASK satisfied our due diligence process. Their track record and customer reference points were outstanding, which gave us comfort that we were engaging not only with an architecturally superior product, but with a company that had great experience in implementations. Stability, transaction speed and uptime are such critical factors in the event space and since installation the system has not missed a beat. The team have been outstanding in their professionalism and efficiency with the installation process and we are looking forward to a long, fruitful and innovative partnership with TASK”. said Michael Swan, Catering and Hospitality Manager for Spark Arena.
“TASK is delighted to be partnering with such a well renowned and premier venue that is Spark Arena” said Owen Scott, General Manager – Sales at TASK. “The team at Spark Arena have been excellent to work with, their operational nous, partnership spirit and event skills have inspired us, and we are excited at what the future holds as we continue to enhance the guest experience with innovation and collaborative initiative.”
