Our History

When we started out in 2000, there were plenty of retail POS systems on the market, but none were capitalizing on the technologies that the market was crying out for: an affordable, stable and streamlined way to deploy and manage large quantities of POS terminals across dispersed enterprise environments.

TASK’s flagship product was a globally scalable, mature POS application with a securely hosted management suite. Harnessing the TASK cloud to deliver centralized and integrated POS terminal management, real-time sales data and interactive customer engagement has made the TASK transaction management platform the system of choice for some of the world’s biggest hospitality brands.

In 2021, TASK and Plexure merged under a united front to deliver unparalleled technology and personalization capabilities across the hospitality industry.

Plexure’s expertise in consumer engagement, campaign management, offer optimization, and consumer loyalty, together with TASK’s superior transactional management capabilities, means our clients will be able to reach a new level of customer engagement across all channels and venues.
